Since 2001 Headline has played a key role in audiovisual satellite transmissions both in Belgium and abroad.
To ensure the quality of service in what has always been one of the most mission-critical applications in newsgathering, Headline has constantly invested in high standard equipment combined with well-trained personnel.
In a world where image and sound quality is of the highest importance, Headline makes sure to update its satellite trucks on a regular basis in accordance with the clients’ needs.
Today, we can ensure both SD and HD transmissions in MPEG-2 using the industry standards such as Tandberg for the encoding equipment, Stellar for the High Power Amplifiers,... so that the programmes that are made with the best of care, reach their destination with the highest possible quality for a chosen link budget.
SNG is of course not only about transmission. Our news trucks are equipped with editing equipment in both linear and non-linear format where needed. They also include cabling and supporting equipment for live positions and events.
Outside Broadcast
Our BEL-60 and our latest addition to the fleet, the High Definition BEL-68, are equipped as Outside Broadcast units for multicamera recordings. The combination of multicamera recordings and satellite transmission in one vehicle permits a compact structure and provides a unique flexibility on-site. When the situation demands it, the OB can also be deployed as mobile unit on the set or at the event location.
